How to use DVD to MP4 Converter for Mac

Step 1: Load DVD

After download and install DVD to MP4 Converter for Mac, click "Load DVD" button at the top left to add the DVD file you want to convert to MP4. Also you can click the drop-down list of "Load DVD" to choose convert DVD Rom, DVD Folder or IFO File.

How to use DVD to MP4 Converter for Mac

Select a DVD file, then click "Rename" button to rename the output video for your preference. Also you can move the position of the loaded DVD files up or down in the file list area.

Step 2: Edit the output MP4 video

If you doesn't like the play effect of the source DVD, you can edit it before converting to MP4. Click "Effect" "Trim" or "Crop" button to open the video editing window to edit the video for your need. You can do the following operations:

Adjust effect
Click "Effect" button to open the Effect editing window. You can adjust video brightness, contrast, saturation, volume and hue by dragging the slider bar or by clicking the up or down arrows on the right side of each scroll bar to adjust the value.

Split source DVD to several parts
Click "Trim" button to open Trim Window, then drag the "Start Point" and "End Point" scissors to specify the DVD video part you want to convert. Clicking the up or down arrows of "Start Time" and"End Time" can also preset the time-length of the DVD part you need.

Crop source DVD
Click "Crop" button to open Crop window. From the drop-down list on the left side of the window, you can choose the video aspect ratio. Or click the up or down arrows of Left/ Top/ Width/ Height to adjust the video play screen size. Just dragging the adjustment boxes and moving the whole frame can also finish cropping frame shape, size and position.

Watermark and Merge
You can check Text or Image option to add text or image watermark for the converted MP4 video. And selecting several DVD files in the file list area, then click "Merge" button can join the selected DVD files into one file.

Step 3: Set output parameters

Click "Settings" button to open the setting windows to preset the output video and audio parameters, which including Video Encoder, Resolution, Frame Rate, Video Bitrate and Audio Encoder, Sample Rate, Channels, Audio Bitrate.

Step 4: Start conversion

After all above steps, then click "Convert" button at the right bottom to finish the DVD to MP4 conversion on Mac.
